My funny Isaac boy!

Isaac is such a character, he loves to make people laugh. It is really interesting because sometimes when we laugh at him, he turns and looks at us trying to figure out what made us laugh, so he can do it again!
We tell him he is silly and funny a lot and he believes it!

We were swimming in Grandpa and Grandma Mendenhall's pool and Daddy was playing a game called categories with his sisters. Categories is where the person who is it chooses a category, in this example Favorite Color. The people in the pool pick their color and if the person who is it says that color they try to swim across the pool without getting tagged by the person who is it. So Gini was it and she was standing on the short diving board with her back to the pool and her eyes covered. She started naming colors, and then jumped in the pool trying to tag someone. The next thing we know Isaac is up on the diving board, with his back to the pool and his eyes covered. We all started dieing laughing and he turned around with the biggest smile on his face and jumped off the diving board! It was hilarious!
He kept doing it and making us laugh every time!

Faces only parents love!

Meal times are always interesting at our house. Isaac is very picky but slowly getting better. Taylor already has a very strong personality and won't eat hardly anything. Once he learned he could feed himself he rarely lets anyone feed him, even if it is something he likes!

Lovely, huh?

Spring Break in Utah!

We had lots of fun playing at Grandpa and Grandma's house! Isaac loved this magnetic dart board.
(During Christmas break Isaac stood on the floor and would throw the darts at the board. After he got all of them to stick to the board, he would stand right up against the wall and say, "iwannit, iwannit!" over and over until someone would help him!)

I love this boy!

This is where Taylor gets his great smile!

Papa and Isaac have lots of fun playing together!

We went to an indoor Amusement park with Isaac's cousins, Jake and Max.
This ride goes round in circles and really made Mommy sick!

Jake and Max loved to ride all the rides!

But Isaac just loved to ride this "Thomas the Train"

Over and over and over!

Isaac, Mommy and Grandma Kartchner went to the Open House of the Draper Temple, so Isaac could go see the beautiful temple!

Gini's Birthday! Isaac loves to help blow out candles!

Pictures with Aunt Cha!

And Aunt Gini! Poor Taylor!

Reading Time!

We swap babysitting with our neighbors, the Bradshaw's. Maliya, Isaac and Caden are reading Tractor Tipping with the Leap Frog Pen. (It's pretty cool, you touch the pen to the page and it reads the words or touch it to a picture and the character talks.)

Taylor's Bedroom?

Taylor slept in the Pack 'N Play in Mommy and Daddy's closet for the first eight months of his life!

Isaac likes to play with Taylor in the Pack 'N Play.

Aunt Lori's Volleyball

Lori came to Las Vegas for the Las Vegas Invitational Volleyball Tournament!

We enjoyed seeing Lori and watching her and her team play!

Aunt Lori is really good!

Great Block!

I love this picture! It will be fun to show Isaac when he is bigger than his Daddy, how small he used to be!

Photoshop "Ph"-un!! (Fun!) 002

I probably spend way too much time when I get into Photoshop...
I'm an amateur and there are still sooo many things that I can do!

These were fun pictures of Isaac and Taylor so I tried to put them together and this is how it came out!

I used the Magnetic Lasso tool to grab Isaac's right forearm. Then I made a "Layer via Copy." Then I did the same thing with Isaac's left arm. I copy and pasted Taylor from the other picture, and rotated it just a little. I adjusted the size by using "Free Transform" and holding the "Shift" button to make sure the size remained relative (so I wouldn't stretch it.) I also had to adjust the brightness of Taylor to match Isaac.
With my Layers, Isaac was the background, then Taylor, and then the two arm Layers on top of Isaac to make it look like Isaac is holding Taylor!
It really is amazing what can be done with Photoshop!

Isaac's Many Faces!!!

It's funny to think that when Isaac was a baby so many people told us that he showed no expression...
well, look at him now!

He used to love taking pictures!

We went to Barnes and Noble to get a book for Potty Training. As I am paying, Isaac grabs a Godiva Chocolate bar. I look over at him and he puts it in his mouth, wrapper and all. I grab it and tell him to let go, but before he does, he bites down through the wrapper and everything! $3 chocolate bar, that had ONLY FOUR CHUNKS!!! I gave in and let him eat some in the car. Hmm... maybe not such a good idea for more than one reason!

Daddy and Mommy thinks he looks like the little people on the Wizard of Oz!

Can't decide what kind of face this is...

And my personal favorite,
Drum roll please....

The Stink Face.
